SHIPPING CHARGES:

FREE UPS GROUND DELIVERY on orders over $130 (goods before taxes) to one location in New York State.
Under $130, $12.50 will be added. Sales Tax applied to New York State deliveries.

Shipping charges apply to all wine futures at the time of shipment, including New York State.

We process most orders within one business day. Orders placed early in the day can frequently be processed the same day, Monday-Friday, but this is not guaranteed. We can then usually ship your order within 1 to 3 business days. Depending on your location, the shipment will then take an additional 1-5 days in transit (UPS Ground Service).

LOCAL (MID-TOWN MANHATTAN) DELIVERIES:
It is possible, though not guaranteed, that orders for delivery within our local delivery area (midtown Manhattan) can be scheduled the next business day. If you need your wine immediately, please call us and we will make every effort to accommodate you. Business days are Monday-Friday, not including holidays.

HOLIDAYS:
Our common carriers (UPS & FedEx) do not pick up or deliver on weekends or holidays, though our own local delivery trucks (midtown Manhattan) do make Saturday deliveries.

Faster service can be obtained by choosing overnight or 2nd day service, though there will still be one or more days needed for processing time.

BLACKED-OUT /NO-SHIP (Common Carrier) STATES:
Many states restrict or prohibit the shipment of wine. Placing an order with morrellwine.com shows you understand the wine shipping rules of your state. We do apologize for the inconvenience if your state laws prevent us from servicing your area. If we are unable to arrange for shipping to you, you might wish to provide us with an alternate shipping address in a nearby state to enable you to make an online purchase. Please note that alternatives may be available. Please contact us to discuss. If you select one of these states (MI, UT, MA, TN, FL, KY, NH) during checkout, you may complete the order process and a customer service representative will contact you to discuss possible alternatives.

GROUND SERVICE SHIPPING RATES:
These depend on distance and, in some instances, weight. As an example, sending via Ground Service, 2 bottles to a nearby state would be approximately $16.50, to a distant state $22.00. 6 bottles range from $20.00 to $32.00, and a case of 12 bottles from $25.00 to $42.00. Your exact shipping charge will show in your shopping cart, but before your credit card has been charged.

MANDATORY INSURANCE:
A mandatory shipping insurance charge of 1.5% will apply to all orders outside of New York State and will be added to the shipping charge.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES:
Please note that large format bottles will incur additional shipping charges (i.e., Magnums count as 2 bottles, 3 Liter sizes as 4 bottles, etc.) Also, optional gift wrapping and gift card/gift note charges ($3.95 per instance) will be added to the order shipping charges.

NON-WINE ITEMS: (accessories, glassware, books, etc.) FREE SHIPPING via Ground Service anywhere in the Continental United States on all orders over $100.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES AND REQUIREMENTS:
If you wish to place an order for delivery outside the United States, we may be able to arrange for it. The minimum charge is $200 ($125 for Japan); the actual charge will depend on its destination, weight and value. The customer is responsible for knowing the laws pertaining to alcohol shipments of the country to which the wine is being sent. Any duty and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer, though we may be be able to expedite this. Shipments are usually made via air and are sent to the nearest airport or to your door, depending on destination. Please call us for international orders.

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times: note that delivery time is calculated only after order is processed, which itself can take up to 48 hours.

SHIPPING TIMES:
New York (1-2 Days):
Free Delivery if order is over $130.00. A $12.50 delivery charge is applied for each delivery under $130.00.

Outside of New York: Delivery may take from 2-3 business days for nearby states, to up to 5-6 business days for states on the West Coast. Other states between 3-6 business days depending on distance from our New York warehouse. Morrellwine.com cannot be responsible for delays due to lapses on the part of our common carriers. Holiday periods may add to shipping times.

Please note that most carriers, including UPS and FedEx do not deliver on weekends. Please keep this in mind when ordering, especially when ordering via Overnight or 2 Day Air Service.

ORDER PROCESSING:
Our web site is monitored Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. It takes approximately 1 to 2 business days to process your order, and then it is usually shipped out within 1 to 2 business days after processing. If you have a need for delivery by a certain date or need rush service, please be sure to email or call us, so that we can endeavor to meet your deadline. We will make every effort to accommodate you. However, our carriers may not guarantee a specific date shipped to residences if shipped via ground service. Delivery schedules do not apply in the event of service interruptions caused by events beyond the control of morrellwine.com or Morrell & Co., including the failure of services provided by our carriers. Shipping to a business address can usually get your wine to you sooner. If you are within our local delivery area, we may be able to get your wine to you the the next day either by our truck or via messenger service (at higher rates). This is not guaranteed, however. Call us if we need to expedite your order. We reserve the right to correct errors on pricing and to limit quantities.

All wines are sold in NY State and title passes to the buyer in NY State. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state outside of NY State. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, your represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and the persons to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered to you, you will be required to show identification proving that you are at least 21 years old.

Partial Orders/Back Orders
Partial Orders/Back Orders short-shipped as standard practice. Once back-ordered items arrive, they will then be shipped (exceptions being gift items).
