Aged Grande Cuvee to Back Vintage Krug

Champagne Krug is without question one of the finest Champagne Houses today.

To say that Krug is on a roll is an understatement. 

Krug is at the pinnacle of the house's storied history. We are living during what is bound to be the finest days of Krug, as these are simply the greatest wines we have seen from this house in the past 50 years.

Krug is the sum of its leadership, talent and vintage conditions. Yet, it is the dogmatic discipline at Krug to create the best blended Champagne possible each year. It begins and ends with the Grande Cuvee. The production of this wine takes priority and center stage. No matter how great the vintage, no matter how small or bountiful the vintage, no matter how easy or hard… It is first and foremost all about the Grande Cuvee. The highly prized and rare single vineyard wines will always come second.

French wine critic, Michel Bettane sums Krug up wonderfully, stating:
