The only white I was able to taste the 2012 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is outstanding. Coming from older vines and spending 16 months in 25% new French oak prior to bottling it offers a beautiful bouquet of lemon curd subtle pineapple white flowers and salty minerality to go with a medium-bodied clean fresh style on the palate. It gains more toast and brioche-like qualities with air and has a forward delicious profile that?s ideal for drinking over the coming couple of years.
