Chateau Belair-Monange is one of the finest in St. Emilion.

Born out of Christian and Eduoard Moueix's passion for St. Emilion, Belair-Monange is one of the great revitalization stories of Bordeaux.

Long time managers of Chateau Belair and Magdelaine, the Moueix family knew the true potential of these famed properties that have some of the finest vineyards of the region. The combination of the two properties into one, once the Moueix family owned both, gave birth to Belair-Monange. Here, we have a St. Emilion that possesses vineyards on the famed and coveted limestone plateau, as well as vineyards on the blue clay and limestone slopes south of the village of St. Emilion overlooking La Gaffeliere and Pavie. It is this duo of prized soil mixes that allow the vines of Belair-Monange to thrive and produce wines of great freshness and finesse, yet possess the textures and supple caressing nature that St. Emilion is adored for.
