Best of 2017 Brunello
Don’t Overlook These Gems

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great wines of Tuscany.

As a Tuscan collector, you know that there are tremendous vintages to go especially deep on that require years of cellaring and then there are vintages that are beautiful on release and super easy going. The rarity are the vintages in between that have structure, power, depth but are rich, juicy and alluring right out of the gate. 2017 is one of those vintages and unfortunately follows the epic 2016 vintage. But while 2016 is perhaps the finest vintage ever in Montalcino, most of those wines are clamped down, tight and super shy today. 2017, on the other hand, is offering wines that are ready to go and easy to hold in the cellar for the next 20 years with ease.

These are wines not to overlook, and ones that you can open and enjoy much more freely than most vintages.

The best of the best and the biggest names of course turned out to be the wines that we all want. So here they are, in one easy list to order from.

Cheers,
Jeremy

Sweet cherries and berries with some smoke and ash undertones. Medium body with firm silky tannins that are slightly chewy but polished and very pleasant for the vintage. Drink now or hold.
