The 0.03-hectare holding of Domaine Bruno Colin in Chevalier-Montrachet comes from his father Michel Colin-Deleger whose vines were split with his brother Philippe. In 2019 he began to pick on September 13th. The grapes were lightly crushed and started in tank before being racked into cask to finish their fermentation. The result is concentrated lemony and fine with an elegant line of acidity that sustains the ripeness of the fruit and brings a marvelous balance and length to the wine. Should age well. Drinking Window 2021 - 2040
Fine clear yellow this has a rich fruit on the nose including some banana developing additional depth of fruit as befits a grand cru. More in generosity here but I have met some more noble Chevaliers on the road.
