This is one of the few wines in the range to display any appreciable reduction along with moderate oak influence. The finer and nicely vibrant middle weight flavors possess both good volume and salinity on the firm and borderline rustic finale. This is a study in contrasts as the mid-palate is very Chambollesque while the finish is more Morey St. Denis in style. (Drink starting 2028)
