From the Central Coast Kimberly has produced a 2013 Pinot Noir Rita?s Crown which comes from two Dijon clones 115 and 667. The wine was aged in 100% new French oak split between Francois Fr?res and Gamba and 100% of the fruit was destemmed. With this wine Kimberly seems to have nailed the elusive character of Pinot Noir in spades. A terrific voluptuous mouthfeel loads of sexy plum Asian spice black cherry and blackcurrant fruit are present in this medium to full-bodied pure wine which has absorbed all of its oak with seeming ease. Textured lush and pure this is another beauty to drink over the next decade or more.
