A tightly wound sleek red marked by floral cherry menthol and mineral aromas and flavors. Reveals ripeness midpalate and builds to a lingering detailed finish. Shows plenty of energy and complexity. Best from 2024 through 2042. 563 cases made.
The 2017 Barbaresco Pajè offers up a compelling mélange of sweet red-toned fruit cinnamon blood orange leather cedar and tobacco. Deceptive in its mid-weight structure the 2017 fleshes out nicely with a bit of time in the glass showing its natural breadth and creaminess. Here too there is a good bit of immediacy and overall appeal. (Drink between 2024-2037)
