The 2020 Mt. Veeder Estate Sauvignon Blanc is made from 82% Sauvignon Blanc 17% Semillon and 1% Sauvignon Gris. 83% was aged in French oak 20% of it new and 17% was aged in amphorae. It comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of juicy white peaches pink grapefruit and gooseberries plus suggestions of elderflower jasmine and lemongrass. Medium-bodied the palate is simply electric with intense citrus and stone fruit layers and a racy backbone offset by a satiny texture finishing long and shimmery. 349 cases were made.
