Aged in oak for 20 months the intensely colored 2016 Grüner Veltliner Single Vineyard opens with a much more oxidative bouquet of ripe fruits intertwined with mineral and yeasty notes as well as finely toasted oak. Powerful yet elegant and with fine and lingering mineral acidity this is a long and tensioned well-structured and juicy Grüner to be served with veal or roasted seafood. Tasted in November 2020.
