This is a head-turner for the reds of Walter Scott. Pouring a medium ruby, the 2021 Pinot Noir Koosah Vineyard takes on a darker tone, with deep, compelling layers revealing notes of licorice, wet stone, and fresh black cherry. The palate brings great purity and a wonderful concentration of fruit. It has an outstanding balance of texture and energy, and its fruit lasts for days. This is the best red I have ever had from Ken. It is a stunning wine, and I highly encourage readers to seek it out. Only 150 cases were produced. Drink 2024-2044.
