Vivid red. Expressive aromas of black raspberry Asian spices and fresh rose with a nervy mineral underpinning. Lively and sharply focused offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and an exotic floral pastille quality. The finish strongly echoes the red fruit and spice notes and is strikingly persistent. This is already long on personality but I'd give it at least three more years of cellaring.
