Jasper Morris: 92-95 Points
Pale lemon colour. This year?s Meursault-Blagny has a most sublime nose very precise not exuberant but with a sense of poise that is most appealing. Really concentrated at the back of the palate with a perfect acid balance. Crisp pure fresh apple finish yet perfectly ripe. 13.4% alcohol pH 3.24. The wine offered in magnum format is a fractionally different cuvée but recognisably the same in style and quality.

The 2020 Meursault-Blagny La Pièce Sous Le Bois 1er Cru has a very zesty bouquet with Clementine and passion fruit palpable energy here. The palate is well balanced with a slightly waxy opening good depth and fine acidity leading to a concentrated finish. Excellent. Closure: Diam (Drink between 2023-2042)
Burghound: 90-92 Points
A riper nose is composed of ripe apple pear compote and just sliced grapefruit. There is fine volume and excellent intensity to the stony medium weight flavors that culminate in a markedly dry youthfully austere and balanced finale. This is a bit finer than the Narvaux though not as structured. (Drink starting 2027)
