The 2018 Champagne Cuvée Ephemère Extra Brut is entirely Chardonnay coming from the Grand Cru villages of Oger Avize and Cramant. Pouring a bright straw hue it?s pure with aromas of fresh pear wet stone fresh flowers and lemon zest. Focused and bright on the palate it remains approachable although it has a focused mineral-tinged texture that feels racy on the palate a silky soft texture and vibrant acidity without feeling harsh. It has a beautiful energy throughout balanced with ripe fruit a svelte medium-bodied frame and a lively mousse. Drink 2023-2030.
