It has a nice balance between ripe fruit and some earthier, herbal scents. Very ripe, pure, concentrated. This has more class than most this year, it's well balanced, even if really very ripe and vibrant. Tannins are robust, ripe, plentiful, fruit-derived, finer than most. Long finish. 50-year-old vines on very steep slopes, 70% destemmed. No pigeage, natural yeasts. Wine spends 16 months in two to eight-year-old barrels. 5,000 bottles made. (Drink between 2022-2030)
