The 2019 Pommard Vieilles Vignes is a blend of Les Cras Les Vignots and La Chanière. It has a well-defined and quite earthy bouquet of red berry fruit. The palate is well balanced with crunchy red berry fruit laced with a splash of balsamic. The parcels ripened at different times due to variations in microclimates and that engenders a more complex Pommard. Fine salinity toward the finish and a minerally aftertaste. Very fine.
