This bottling used to be from purchased grapes but now the younger Merlins have taken over the same vines. The current blend is about 60% from Vergisson 30% Chaintré and 10% Fuissé and all old vines. Clear and bright lemon a fresh nose a little bit of chiselled white fruit a hillside Pouilly-Fuissé for the most part. Pure fruit white apple less muscat and good oak finish. Very attractive graceful finish.
