Blockbuster of a wine!

The 2020 Angelus is a blockbuster of a wine.

It commands attention as the wine is explosive in the glass. The alluringly packed aromas leap from the glass, the fruit bursts with every sip and the power, intensity and formidable nature are undeniable. This is a wine built for the ages, yet is one that is so complete and well chiseled that it is hard to resist now. 

Jeb Dunnuck notes that 2020 is not the blockbuster of a decade ago, and we tend to agree. This is a winery that has adapted to the changes in their vineyards and overall styles. In a sense, Angelus is becoming more refined with time and age much like Daniel Craig’s James Bond evolved over the course of his time in the iconic role. The similarities are appropriate considering the wine has been prominently featured with the James Bond franchise for decades now. Today, Angelus with the 2020 controls some of the full throttle brutish intensity by smoothing the edges, preserving more of the inner core of freshness and lift. Rather than power and impact it is a wine of completeness and fullness that the 2020 Angelus presents.
