A deft application of wood sets off slightly riper aromas of poached plum violet and kirsch. The super-sleek intense and even more mineral-suffused flavors possess very good mid-palate volume before terminating in a youthfully austere serious and built-to-age finish. This is typically a wine that needs at least 5 to 7 years before it's ready to play and the 2022 version is not likely to be an exception. (Drink starting 2030)

bhAn opulent red, featuring cherry, blackberry, black currant, violet and spice flavors. A line of dense tannins provides structure, along with fresh acidity. Showing fine harmony and length, this ends with a crisp finish. Best from 2027 through 2040. 209 cases made, 53 cases imported.Published on March 3, 2025
