Jasper Morris: 93-95 Points

A slightly brighter ruby colour. Fresher and more precise fruit more raspberry than strawberry medium-bodied all in red fruit with good grip to finish. A cut above the Echezeaux today. By Jasper Morris 11/24

Wine Advocate: 91-93 Points

The 2023 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is fleshy and expressive delivering aromas of smoky berries orange zest and spices followed by a medium to full-bodied charming and succulent palate. This will offer a broad drinking window. Reviewed by: William Kelley 01/25

Burghound: 90-93 Points

An unusually floral-suffused nose for Clos de Vougeot features additional nose of various red berries and just turned earth. The attractively textured if not especially dense medium weight flavors terminate in a youthfully austere and lingering finish that could also use better depth. (Drink starting 2033). Vinous: 90-92 Points

The 2023 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru has a clean and pure bouquet that perhaps doesn't possess the mineralité and complexity of the Corton Clos de Faiveley. The palate is clean and pure with silky tannins. It's not a powerful Clos Vougeot yet it's focused and harmonious with a dab of sour cherry on the slightly truncated finish. (Drink between 2027 - 2042). By Neal Martin 01/25

Jancis Robinson: 17++ Points

Cask sample. Surprisingly pale. Just a little loose but there is some attractive savour (as opposed to sweetness) and some grand cru life to this. Tannin very much in evidence but the wine is persistent and obviously trying hard. (JR) (Drink between 2032 - 2050). By Jancis Robinson MW 11/24
