Wine Advocate: 95 Points
The 2020 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a blend of declassified barrels from Ferren's single-vineyard program (specifically the Frei Road and Volpert vineyards). Matured for 18 months in 20% new French oak it has detailed scents of cranberry sauce tea leaves rosewater mossy bark and woodsmoke. The light-bodied palate is detailed and layered and strikes a fine balance of juicy fruit and earthy nuance. It has a silky texture refreshing acidity and a long earthy finish. It's delicious straight out of the bottle. 156 cases were made.

Shows steeped red cherry and damson plum notes that form a juicy coiled-up core while marjoram red tea and savory accents fill in the background and meld nicely through the finish. Nicely done. Drink now through 2030. 156 cases made.
