The 2021 Chardonnay Presqu'ile Vineyard is one of the best wines I have tasted here in some time. It marries depth textural resonance and energy in style. Lemon peel almond dried flowers and chamomile are some of the many notes that develop in the glass. I love the energy and focus here. There's plenty of the savoriness that is such a Presqu'ile signature but not to the point of being overpowering. - By Antonio Galloni on July 2023 This is another strong set of wines from Presqu'ile a winery that continues to make important strides in both quality and consistency. The biggest change here in recent years has been a dramatic decrease in the use of stems in the Pinots in favor of purity and site expression. That is especially evident in the 2021s. The team led by winemaker Dieter Cronje and consulting winemaker Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac is doing brilliant work.
