Rich dense black purple. The nose shows a whole bunch briary character which needs refining. However there is greater sweetness of bramble jelly on the palate with a good depth of flavour. While I shall not say rustic this does not set out to be an elegant wine. A few white pepper notes right at the finish. Not racked and will not be bottled before next spring at the earliest.
