Burghound: 88-90 Points
Cool and airy aromas are comprised by notes of green apple lemon zest and a touch of rosemary oil. There is fine volume to the medium-bodied flavors that are at once caressing yet punchy all wrapped in a lingering and delicious finish that would also benefit from developing slightly better depth. (Drink starting 2027)
Vinous: 89-91 Points
From three lieux-dits the 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Chambrées has a tightly-wound bouquet with red apple lime and crushed stone. The palate is quite intense and weighty in the mouth rounded like a Meursault yet counterbalanced by a keen line of acidity that maintains focus on the finish. I can imagine this being approachable in its youth. (Drink between 2024-2032)
